We have sure heard a lot about China lately and much of it has been bad news. Things such as their stock market correction (crash) and their manipulation of their currency. It is not hard to imagine further problems that even their 11.8% growth cannot fix. Right now their stock market stocks are trading at 70 times earnings, remember the Silicon Valley bubble burst. US stocks are trading at 17 times earnings. Needless to say there is a huge potential downside in China.
What about the environment - well, about 1 million are dying per year from complications resulting from environmental toxins. What have they done? Not much, but they promise to work on it. Worried about Global Warming, China now puts out more greenhouse gases than any other country and they still wish to be exempt. There are dolphins dying in the rivers and dead zones of the coasts, some more than 250 miles wide.
Let us talk about tainted food products to their biggest customers, such as the United States. Poisoned toothpaste, poisoned fish food products entering our food chain, and protein food additives too. What do they do - they execute the head of their FDA counterpart, removing any way to track the culprits - neurotoxins in toothpaste, what say you?
The roads, infrastructure and energy system is over taxed and the streets of Shanghai and Beijing are gridlocked. They are trying to silence the people who are upset, but a major civil unrest or worker revolution looms. So lets look at the problems of the flows of civilization in China:
- Currency
- Stock Market
- Environment
- Inflation
- Energy
- Education
- Transportation
- Health Care
Should I go on? China needs someone very smart to handle it all, it is in a disarray and I am not volunteering to fix it unless I am adequately paid and they stop polluting my people, would you?
