Mercury retrograde is a fairly regular cycle that usually happens about three times a year for about three weeks, and is often the scapegoat for what is going wrong or didn’t work out during that time. That’s when my computer starts being finicky, causing hours of frustration until it finally dies and has to be taken in for repairs.

My daughters came home recently with the dvd Hedwig and the Angry Inch, a soulful transsexual punk rock musical, directed by and starring the brilliant John Cameron Mitchell. It began as an off Broadway hit but I hadn’t heard of it. I immediately thought that Yitzhak, Hedwig’s second spouse and back up singer, was so hot – he reminded me of a few men I have been attracted to rolled up into one.

No more relationship, family, money, or health problems.
Sounds good!

Alas, years of empirical research convinces us that this is
impossible.

If it were possible to create whatever you wanted at any

Mon 7/23/07 Lazy Day with Little Accomplished

We may be feeling like lazy Lions today, and “procrastinate before its too late,” could be our motto. Everybody deserves a day off, so don’t beat yourself up. But, don’t expect results from others. If you are waiting on an important project, you may be waiting a few more days. We may get a new idea or be looking for something different late this afternoon, but our motivation will probably drop off this evening. There could be lots of confusion late tonight, so best to go to bed early.

There are many aspects of astrology that are not often considered by those who do not actually study the subject. Most people think that astrology consists of sun signs. However, there are many other aspects of astrology that must be considered for the art to be truly accurate and useful.

The Planets

There are ten planets studied in astrology. The number ten is arrived by adding the sun and the moon. The earth is not counted, because our perspective is from the earth. Each planet influences both the sun sign and the house in which it resides in the astrological chart.

Judy Hall’s book Hades Moon is an important, powerful and validating book for me. I continue to lend my copy out to grateful friends who then keep it, and I am back to being without a copy. She defines a Hades Moon as being in aspect to Pluto, a Scorpio Moon, and possibly (I consider it), Moon in the 8th house. Even with an 8 degree out of sign conjunction of my Moon to Pluto, this aspect has been huge in my life. This series of blogs is dedicated to all men and women with the courage to allow their feminine aspect to visit, embrace and transmute the dark shadows of Hades into Truth and Love.
