This work attempts to argue that astrological phenomena (i.e. things happening in accordance with astrological predictions) can only be explained by (philosophy of mind) idealism. In other words, astrological phenomena happen because of some non-spatial mechanism. Astrology, in particular Indian (Vedic) astrology, is empirically convincing and thus true/valid. However, its conventional spatial mechanistic explanation (that the astrological phenomena are caused by some rays emitted by the planets) is flawed. Further, it can be conjectured that no valid spatial mechanistic explanation can be provided. Therefore, in such case, only a (valid) non-spatial mechanistic (i.e. idealistic) explanation can be given. And one such explanation is the NSTP (Non – Spatial Thinking Process) theory, which also explains phenomena like quantum non-locality. Then, finally, the planets (more accurately, the astrological planets) stand as mere conceptual indicators in the non-spatial universal program.

In doing a search for astrology, the type called Free Will appeared. Curious, I began wondering exactly what is Free Will?
It seems like the basis of it is this: Free Will is what every human has. We have the free will to make decisions and to act on them. They are our choices to make. If we make good choices they give us reason to celebrate and rejoice. If we make wrong decisions, hopefully we can correct them. But the thing is we choose to act or not to act. This is our Free Will. Astrology is the study of the where the planets and the stars are aligned and how they affect our birth charts. When we combined Free Will and Astrology to make this type, it means that that those who are giving the readings and those who are receiving them, understand that the final decisions that we make needs to be ours. We should not make them just on what the stars or planets supposedly say. We should make them because we feel we are making the best informed decisions for us. In essence, we are using our free will to make these decisions.

We can use the horoscope to begin integrating polarities. It’s so easy to get caught in the collective mindset of this or that, black or white, us or them, good or evil. We live in a world torn apart by dualities. We also live in a world where it seems harder and harder to care.
Sitting with the feelings of deep, sadness for all of the people who are suffering because of our current world insanity has become an almost daily affair for me. The bottom line is that a bloodbath is occurring on planet Earth. These are not easy times for anyone paying attention. Mercury retrograde is a fairly regular cycle that usually happens about three times a year for about three weeks, and is often the scapegoat for what is going wrong or didn’t work out during that time. That’s when my computer starts being finicky, causing hours of frustration until it finally dies and has to be taken in for repairs.
Mercury is largely about thought processes, communication, giving and receiving information, transportation, commerce and managing everyday affairs, so these are the areas where we may feel a loss of control and predictability, and which might also need extra attention.
