Okay, I will admit I’m a little perturb this morning. I read an article this morning stating that a school is having a board meeting sometime this week regarding making a policy about their students HAVING to cover up their tattoos. However, there is some sweet justice to this it seems that the principle of the school doesn’t necessarily have a problem with his students having these tattoos, as long as they are not vulgar or obscene images. He stated that the decision for his students to have tattoos are up to the student and their parents not him. It was stated in this article that tattoos can fall under the dress code and if something is considered disruptive then the principle can take any kind of action he wishes.

Well it is another Wednesday so that means it is celebrity tattoo time. This week I picked Drew Barrymore because she hasa collection of 6 tattoos at the moment. But Drew has admitted that if the mood strikes her she hasn’t ruled out the possibility of getting another one.
Drew’s tattoos consist of a bouquet of flowers on the left side of her hip. On her stomach she has a butterfly tattoo which is probably her most well known tattoo. She also have a very small black crescent moon on her big toe. On the lower part of her right leg she has a fairly large tattoo of a cross with vines surrounding it. And lastly she has two angles on her lower back. One has Drew’s mother’s name “Jaid? written under it and the other has an ex-boyfriend’s name “James? under it.

You are probably scratching your head at this one, but I promise shaving does have something to do with tattoos. For one when you get a tattoo the tattoo artist always shaves the area where you are getting a tattoo so your skin is nice and smooth and nothing is getting in the way. The reason I bring this up is because my sister recently asked me if you got a tattoo on your leg would it be ok to shave over it. The answer I gave her was yes. But there is a BUT in there.

As a tattoo lover I know that there are good and bad things that come with having a tattoo. One of the bad things is, some people still look down on people if they are inked then they think they are less of a person or are a “hellrasier?.One of the goods things is that if something ever happened to me my husband and or parents could identify me better because of my tattoos. But having a distinctive tattoo can also come back and bite you in the butt as well.

It has became fairly popular and a lot more common for people who have lost a loved one or a dear friend to get something tattooed on their body in remembrance of that person. Whether it be a picture of them something they drew or even their name. To my surprise, I have found out that memorial tattoos as they are called are lot more popular than one may think. One tattoo artists claim that 20 to 30% of his business is memorial tattoos. Of course it is being reported that most of the clients that get these memorial tattoo are teenagers and young adults

One might ask themselves how in the world does a tattoo stay on your skin forever? I mean, I’m pretty sure that most people are aware that we as human shed are skin all the time. So one might wonder how does the ink from our tattoos never fall off as well. Well in this post I will explain the whole process of how and why tattoos stay on our skin forever.
First you should know that a tattoo needle punctures you skin up to 50 to 3,00 times a minute when getting a tattoo. The tattoo needle punctures the cells of the dermis which is the second layer of the skin. Our skin consists of three layers: the epidermis, dermis and subcutaneous tissues. The epidermis, is the outer layer of skin that acts as a protective barrier and contains no blood vessels. Below the epidermis, is a thicker layer called dermis and that is where tattoos go.

Eagle Tattoos and their significance…
Eagle tattoo
Strong and mighty are appropriate adjectives that describe every eagle tattoo. Through the years, people have been getting tattoos to boost the ego and bolster fashion sense. In early civilizations, tattoos were symbolic of people’s personalities and social status.
Now, tattoos often do not symbolize anything about the wearer. However, there are still some people who pay high regards to symbolism and representations when it comes to getting a particular tattoo design. If you are planning to get a tattoo, why not choose to have an eagle tattoo? You would surely love it, as do people who already wear one.
